I don’t understand why people are so bullish on #AI (or AGI) as a solution to so much. They seem to think it’s actually thinking and actually logical or reasonable.
It’s just spitting out probabilities from what it’s been trained on. I’m not sure if this currently model is going to produce the qualities of they’re hoping it will, even if it does become general and autonomous. It’s likely going to be biased.
I like AI as a focused tool in limited capacity.
