I've taken the second step in moving my computing (back) to #Linux by getting a new desktop machine, and putting Kubuntu 24.04 on to it.
So far it's been pretty smooth sailing. all of the applications I want are available on Linux, and I've got all the hardware working, including the ZV-1 camera+no-name USB-->HDMI capture card and my stream deck.
It's been really nice when doing Container work as it gets rid of the whole complexity of WSL+Docker Desktop, and things run as processes on my host.
The only thing I've not tried yet is my Fujitsu snapscan, I've seen a couple of blogs on getting it working but haven't dived in yet.
