Nudhul (nprofile…al36) Borrowed words usually end up with a narrower meaning than what they had in their source language. "Salsa" just means "sauce" in Spanish, but in English it's specifically a (sometimes) spicy tomato sauce. Not to say that Chipotle's "queso blanco" is the accepted English version, but it could be an example of the phenomenon in its infancy.
