why is it possible for big tech to recruit thousands of people to essentially work for free in the name of an open source project that will be gradually replaced with proprietary components once market share is growing enough? why is offering them bounties or a job enough to make them sabotage free software?
why do free software communities themselves strive to imitate corporate bullshit?
i feel like this has failed on many more levels than just propaganda
