Web Push is such a PITA, especially finding out if you should send a web push, or do a ye olde desktop notification.
Because, you see, desktop Chrome can do both, so just detecting if the client is web push capable isn't enough.
Now, you might say, "ok, lets use push only when no desktop notification is available", because that's what you want. Web push on mobile, desktop noticiations on… desktop.
Ahahahahahah.
There is no sane way of finding out that fact.
