For those amounts, at this point in time, probably not. For hundreds of dollars it makes sense to pay/charge on chain. That'll probably change in the future, when a 3rd layer and or higher are in place and the fees for on chain transactions are much higher (in terms of relative value, of course). For now, LN makes sense for smaller amounts, in my opinion.
