What almost all frameworks of methodology in software seem to have in common is claims of superior efficiency, code quality, customer value, and so on… while actively avoiding anything related to people’s well-being, happiness, and willingness to participate.
But only when you have the latter should you start looking into how you could improve the former… and never at the cost of your well-being or enthusiasm. The failure to acknowledge this is the failure of these methodologies.
