Yesterday, I shared my experience about donating blood in Germany after many years living here and some of its challenges as an immigrant who is still learning German.

I think that was one of my microblog posts with more interactions, over 100. I'm quite surprised, because I think I've never had so many interactions on Twitter after 17 years using that old platform and having almost double the followers I have here.

Most people here are not bombed by posts suggested by dubious algorithms, but we can still have an interesting network effect! It's also interesting to see the diversity of platforms where the people come from.

Still, I started using phanpy.social (npub1l5tgujhhn7pyxunuaxwklaune7ak8yvf8zg0slsr45fmkhrrhgeq37qq33 (npub1l5t…qq33)) these days, and I like very much several of its features, mainly to catch-up posts from my network with lots of comments, boosts and likes. I discovered several interesting posts I wouldn't have if I just scrolled my chronological timeline.
