I picked up a guitar for the first time in a while today. My fingers are officially too numb to hold onto a pick, or even to feel the strings well enough to hit chords I don't have strong muscle memory for. The numbness used to just be in my right hand, and I had enough feeling in the sides of my fingers that I could hold onto a pick if I positioned it right. It's all gone, and I don't know if it's ever coming back.
