Is the idea that most people, right now, assume the most important things should be run like a business, which is the opposite of what it should be?
I think I am mostly tracking and am in agreement but want to make sure I am not just making assumptions based on incomplete information :)
Fully agree on the point on false accounting. It is so easy to cook the books to make short-term profits, at the very least.
