I posted a note yesterday that I believe that is a farce. I fully believe stablecoins will be defacto CBDCs because it gives countries culpable deniability despite getting all the potential benefits, especially the US since they're pegged to the dollar.

Plus they will all be forced to buy and hold US Treasuries in order for the ability to operate within the United State.

There is a reason Ripple announced RLUSD back in December. I fully believe they knew what was coming and want in on that sweet Tether action.
