I'm focusing on three big things in my #permaculture #garden this year.
1. The new front bed by the driveway
2. Fruit - apples, pawpaw, peach, honeyberries, cherries, persimmons, raspberries, figs. I now 5 fig varieties.
3. guilds around all fruit plantings and new burr oak.
Lesser focuses are vermiculture, permanent planting like asparagus, daylilies, etc.,and improving compost system.
In the fall I'll continue cutting all the rotten, invasi e Amur Honeysuckle out of my hedges along property lines, and plant more pawpaws and hazelnuts.
