Better understanding the immense proof of work advantage bitcoin has over others is a big step in understanding how it outshines everything else.
I will say out of all the other coins, Monero is one that seems to have legitimate criticisms of bitcoin and go about legitimately trying to solve those criticisms. I still think bitcoin outcompetes it, but there are privacy advantages in Monero that shouldn’t be dismissed.
