I think it’s flipped the other way.
In this episode of Squid Games, the unhoused had the option to choose between the pastry or the lottery ticket. Majority of the unhoused chose the lottery ticket with hopes of striking it rich, but none of them do and denied themselves actual food which had real value.
So in this case, panic selling would be the lottery ticket because it’s an uninformed decision with short-term gains as opposed to HODLing being the pastry which is an educated decision with real value.
I know it’s not that deep, but just my two sats.
