The thing I still can’t get my head around is just why so many Threads people insist their mutual follows are some sort of “community.” A community traditionally requires something more than just adjacency to others. It needs an organizing precept or mission. Facebook groups have that. Subreddits and Lemmy have that. Not much else does.
