SOOOOO We have a new addition to our family.
Please meet Minnie Pearl.
She's doing so good and already learning signs.
She came from a hoarding backyard breeder and was then taken in by an animal rescue. Three weeks ago, she was confiscated from the home of one of the rescue's board of directors. They had been hoarding animals at their house also, under the guise of the rescue. The rescue had no idea this had been going on at their house.
So Pearl, in her 3-4 years, has had a terrible start to life. Imagine being deaf, used as a breeder dog, and in two hoarding situations.
Thankfully, she's finally home.
