Yeah, but my inner child is a naughty little fucker that has already been born. My home is never child proof.
He has been known to get super stoned, and take the screwdriver to every screw in my home, all devices, doors, including the front door and the lock on it. The inner child was just curious and wanted to take everything apart to figure out how it worked. Soon, the apartment manager showed up with a security guard in tow. The stoned child was too happy to be able to rationalize his quest for first-hand knowledge. The adult would have re-assembled everything, probably. We got in a lot of trouble for that.
And then there was the time when the kid wanted to listen to music underwater, in 2004. Wrapped an iPod with 3 layers of condoms and listened to Mozart in the pool for a good half hour, till the iPod died, taking all the music with it.
I swear, this kid is a handful. I live alone but I am not safe from my inner child. 😆
