begging queers to realize that being TMA isn’t about our “experiences” of interpersonal harrassment, its about our positionality in a rigid gendered hierarchy as a third-gendered monstered other. the idea that getting mistaken for a tranny in the bathroom sometimes is somehow equivalent to being TMA is just completely devoid of any structural understanding of how transmisogyny works to isolate and police bodies that transition away from maleness
