Ae, I knew about this. I worked briefly for an Adult Community Education provider based at a local high school. One of the few schools in Te Ika a Maui still offering it.
The dopey thing about this was that the vast majority of the resources used in ACE are classrooms that now sit empty every night. The cost of security during the time that ACE providers used to be there is probably about the same as running the ACE program. So short-sighted. Typical NatACTs.
