Don't fall for advices of well wishing people, who themselves have fallen for millenniums old advices of ill educated people.
The author of the attached message obviously does not understand it, but basically he is saying that you need drugs to be able to do good exercise. As in, your natural body is unoptimally built, shoots false fatigue alerts, so you have to suppress them with drugs, so that you would achieve some sort of artificial objective not in your natural rhythm, but in some drug induced hyperstretch. Motivation? - lack of patience, I guess. At what costs do the drugs achieve that result? - ups, we forgot to consider that.
Conclusion: I have not done enough study to claim that carbs are difinitelly not needed at all (although I am convinced that is true), but surely this attached argument for why they would be needed is wrong.
