If you think it's impressive for teens to do something but not adults, there's probably some internalized ageism there tbh, if you acknowledged teens are just as capable you wouldn't be particularly impressed by them
This is something i've been noticing a lot in people impressed that i've been programming since 14 lol, it's really nothing special
