no no not at all - I totally understand the deliciousness of that seemingly chaotic "mess"
May be a mess but it's a glorious mess

Been a while since we did something like that, but cut up hot dogs with S. Indian spicing works well. Black mustard seeds, black peppercorn, curry leaves, green chilies, sliced onions in hot oil, then add the cut up hot dogs and fry it all up.
(Optional - garlic ginger minced with some chopped tomatoes too if you're feeling fancy and up to more prep)
