Just cut back my ornamental grass things in the backyard, first time ever (~7 years of growth!). They were pretty big and looking quite shaggy, and a YouTube video told me it would be good for them and encourage healthier growth. Whenever I cut something back for the first time, I am always afraid that I have inadvertently murdered it, and find myself holding my breath until I see it growing again. Anyone else familiar with that feeling of panic and doom? Just me? 😬😂🌱
