Years ago I was a founder member of an outdoor club, hiking, canoeing etc. We put the club on Meetup. Made it clear it wasn't a singles club. We had a massive amount of people join
Really nice successful people. I think if you show leadership and create an event, people will come. And then the association grows. That is what we found.
