yeah, it's a shame. But nothing is permanent. And I mean nothing. Every medium for every type of data/content.
My band lost masters on tape because of a flood. Paper is vulnerable to fire/water.
Our best bet is to mindfully enjoy what we have in the present, and avoid getting attached to the idea of infinity. The loss still stings, no doubt. But we gotta live in the present.
