How many of your microphones actually have a noise floor low enough to make use of 144 dB of range? After the microphone, how many preamps, compressors, etc have that kind of range?
In a modern professional studio the answer is probably zero. There’s just no justification for a 32 bit audio interface in a professional studio. Maybe if you’re working in a science lab or something?
32 bit is nice in the box tho.
