Trust less how? Usually in this context, that means that I need no control or rule of law over them to get them to behave the way I want them to.
Using that definition, I would say yes. The thing that gets my transaction into the blockchain is miner self interest in the fees, not any power anyone has over them.
No guarantee your transaction will ever get added. You must pay sufficient fee to get the miners interested. Lately 1sat/vbyte is fine if you are patient. A day will likely come where a transaction with that fee will be ignored forever because someone is always willing to pay more.
