Okay, so far I have the ICE40UP5K, the SPI flash, the FET switch to multiplex the SPI bus, and the power regulator, plus the same binary weighted resistor DAC the official module uses (because it's fewer parts and size matters here).
More stuff needs to go on here, bypass caps and the like, but I think I can squeeze this down to a pretty tiny castellated PCB.
I'll need some way to program the flash -- I'll figure that out later. Maybe pogo pins on a separate PCB with the USB-UART bridge from the Upduino, and pads on the bottom of the PCB?
