Again Musk fails to show up to court. His lawyers have chosen an odd - to say the least -strategy to defend against the first count of the case against him. That count contends that the 1 million voter sweepstakes he has been running is an illegal lottery. Musk’s lawyers are saying that bc the winners have not been chosen at random, the operation isn’t a lottery. Problem for them: Musk and his PAC kept saying explicitly in tweets that winners would be chosen at random.
