This "place" is a tool. It's not a real place. You're essentially saying "This hammer needs an update. It's headed towards irrelevance. Somehow, this hammer must be known for courage."
Tools are not neural--tools change people. People's use of a tool can be sloppy or downright wrong. But don't confuse the tool for the person.
Sounds like you're placing an awful lot of importance on a group of tool-users that don't have real-world interactions. Energy is better focused elsewhere if you're concerned about effective leadership and real-world change.
