i enjoyed Adam Conover's last episode with Jamelle Bouie, who is without question one of the best-read, most thoughtful public thinkers working in the United States today, but i think it's a huge mistake to assume that voters who just massively misunderstood the causality and fault of current conditions are going to correctly understand the causality and fault of conditions when the Trump administration fucks up their lives.
