Glad that's over, shearing is one of the most stressful days of the year because we have to put the sheep through a procedure they absolutely don't like, and I hate coercing them to do anything and really don't like them being upset.
But it must be done, and now it's over they will be much more comfortable and safer from flystrike, which is much more horrible.
Spent a while just lying with them and giving them direct-to-surface skritchies, a benefit they truly enjoy! 🐏💗
