To the #Diabetic folks of the fedi lands how much does being diabetic change things? Like there are somethings I would imagine ones have to do to manage it, is it hard to?

I recently got totally I very likely could be if not already diabetic and I honestly worry that I just won't be able to manage it. I am someone who is very much not a functional person.

Any insight would be welcome just trying to really understand what this could mean for me.
