Haha no, goofball, maybe it was always there but now you're more sensitive to it, for one reason or another. One of the biggest hurdles I've struggled with, and even continue to struggle with, is how God could love someone like me. I'm a wretch. Think about it this way - if you were a parent with a disobedient child and you kept trying to tell them not to do something that would get them hurt, but they wouldn't listen, what would you do? Keep trying the same thing, or would you allow them to experience the consequences of their actions so they would understand you knew what was truly best for them all along? Same concept, different scale.
