There's definitely no shortage of table improvements, that's for sure (fixed headers, spanned headers, etc.). They seem so antiquated sometimes.
Re: scrollable tables, I get my idea isn't perfect. Just trying to solve for what I constantly run into. Every time I jump into another dev's project, there's giant page-breaking tables. Then I add a wrapper, attributes, CSS, etc. to clean it up. Would be nice to have an out-of-the-box behavior since most don't know or care to be diligent.
