People also get really surprised that npub1x6hnj6qz2pd3l4xt856z56zmf0a9jk8hz6gjz87wasvdusmnl57sl50ur6 (npub1x6h…0ur6) has the subscriber numbers he has, but of course there's a massive difference in traffic between the most popular sites on a topic and fairly popular sites that you've heard of.

This is very obviously true for books, music, etc., so why wouldn't it be true for programming blogs? I think it would be extraordinary of this weren't the case, but it's apparently not intuitive.
