In general projects don’t change their license files to match the additional permissions that hosting on GitHub grants other users (which is mostly limited to forking on GitHub itself). I have taken the repo private now though.

I did note that there is a checkbox on public repos which is checked by default for the GitHub Archive program. This is probably how the code left GitHub.
