Doing some upgrades on an older HP ProBook 4730s laptop. Upgrading from 8GB to 16GB and the SSD from 128GB to a newer model Samsung 250GB.
The owner wants to keep using this laptop and I don't blame him. It is in perfect physical condition and is a good match for his needs.
The Windows 10 installation had some serious problems, so doing a fresh installation of Windows 10. I recommend Linux Mint since he only uses it for checking accounts on websites, web browsing and watching Youtube... but he wanted to stick with what he was familiar with: so a fresh Win10Pro install it is.
Eventually, he'll need to change as this laptop won't handle Windows 11 as BIOS doesn't seem to have UEFI that I could see and processor is 2nd Gen Intel i5-2450M.
