Very disappointing. This is the wrong direction. Starting with the recognition that American degree of reliance (and the reasons that drive it) and the excessive nature of our individual vehicles are bad, we should still be prioritizing access to smaller and more affordable vehicles. Everyone out there is working on EV trucks, which is something, but there is still a dearth of affordable EV options in the US.
