so I'm not currently a ham... radio-wise. I'm been thinking about getting a license for the last few years.
Do you think something like this would be a good first radio to get started? other recommendations?
I also remember seeing a device that connected through the internet to hit repeaters that way.... but I have no idea what I'm talking about.
