The situation with the step daughter has become worse as the Pub owner has installed a Landlady in her flat, making her homeless.
She and her daughter and all her belongings are confined to a back bedroom, as the new Landlady now lives in the flat. This is entirely temporary. She MUST move out.
I wish we lived closer, or had funds, or a larger house. It's frustrating because there is nothing we can do, and she must apply to her local Council for housing. It is now URGENT.
