I love how complex the role of RNA in a cell is turning out to be. How cool is it that cells might use RNA as a code for communicating with each other? It makes me wonder: what are they talking about? What is this for?
It's particularly fascinating that some species use this mechanism to attack each other (if that's what's really going on), and yet the cells still accept and interpret the RNA despite this. This mechanism must be very important (or primal) for cells to maintain it even when it could be the biological equivalent of a remote code execution vulnerability.
