In 2016, I had to insist my mother vote for Hillary Clinton. She wasn't going to vote for Trump. She was going to skip the presidential box. She really disliked Clinton. I told her NC might be a swing state, and her vote counted. She did vote for Clinton, under strong protest, then Trump won NC anyway, not even close. I can tell you, if Mother were still alive, she would vote for Kamala Harris twice if she could.
