We have this lawn guy ... it's probably most accurate to say he came with the house ... scratch that, I think what he came with is the town? ... who mows and prunes and weed whacks and has charged us money once in two years. I really don't get it.

It's costly, though. He is a wanton destroyer of flowers, an uprooter of milkweed (there is a RAGING battle in New England about whether milkweed is native or invasive and it's a rabbit hole so deep I gave up) and a refuser of change.
