Question for #CatholicMastodon. Some years ago I wrote and abandoned a slim book, The Teaching of the Council of Trent In Plain English. The idea was, don’t translate the underlying text (which is impenetrable) but to slough off all the canonical reform and represent the doctrinal ideas in simple, direct, unadorned, modern English. Do you think there’s a market for that book?
