Reading Assata Shakur's autobiography and I am beyond pissed about how LE and the judicial system treated her. They set her up, shot her and left her to die. When she didn't die they brought her to the hospital where they imprisoned, intimidated and beat her (while she had a severed nerve rendering her shoulder and arm paralyzed), They violated her right to an attorney; when they finally allowed the call, her attorney had to get a court order for a 5 min visit.
