You’ve got to hand it to the fossil fuel industry’s anti-EV shills. The latest way to trash-talk EVs in the press is to express disappointment that EVs have not cut through. This is a subtler version of spreading doubt than previous efforts. It’s calculated to instill a moment’s pause when people are getting a new car. Are EVs a fad that’s about to be over? That’s the intended fear. Yet EV market share in the UK continues to climb — now 1 in 5 of all new sales.
