Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994) is near universally reviled by critics. It may not be the greatest movie ever made, but I find it to be an above average horror flick featuring one of Matthew McConaughey's most captivating performances.
I think it's status as complete garbage was earned not through poor quality, but its frankness on topics of human trafficking, secret societies, ritual abuse, and human sacrifice.
