I've recently joined a social/peer support group, where I have contact with women I probably wouldn't otherwise meet socially.
It's nice, but also I realised that *people* haven't moved on from diet chat, just my people have.
So, PSA for those who haven't heard before: it's better to not to chat about diet and weight, basically ever, but especially in a group, where you don't have consent, or don't know everyone's history.
You don't know who has an eating disorder or weight-related trauma. And also, it's usually negative, boring and generally ill informed.
