I love when a distant relative messages me and says, hello, I think we are related, my last name is (Smith) and my grandmother’s last name is (Jones).
Oh honey, we may be related, but for every generation you go back, you have to add four more last/surnames. Come back to me once you go back four generations and have all a list of those last/surnames.
